SPATIAL/FURNITURE PLANNING

We'll rearrange your existing furniture for a balanced, functional layout and, if needed, suggest the types of pieces that could enhance your room—all without tying you to specific products. Your space will feel cohesive, stylish, and perfectly suited to your needs.
CONCEPT DESIGN

CoMING SOON! Our Concept Only Design service provides a fully customized vision for your space, including personalized millwork, built-ins, and detailed design concepts. Perfect for those who want creative guidance without full service execution. Note: This is a conceptual design only and not for permits or code compliance.
One Room VIRTUAL DESIGn PACKAGE
This package includes:
An initial Design concept and Inspiration board
A Spatial Planning Floorplan that includes any placement of furniture
A Design Board including all of your furniture, accessories and lighting
3D renderings in Sketchup where you can see what a representation of certain furniture will look like
Paint Options or Wallpaper Options (if requested)
Design Implementation Instructions and Notes
A clickable Shopping List so that you can make your design a reality
This package doesn’t include:
Any custom elements, such as: millwork, custom drapery, flooring etc.
3D renderings may contain representations of products
Currently this package does not include kitchens and bathrooms

STEP ONE
INQUIRE WITH US
Please email me at hello@dearalia.com or use the inquiry form. I’d love to learn more about the room you’re interested in for our virtual design service. I’ll then send you a custom questionnaire to better understand your goals for the project.
STEP two
SEND US PHOTOS AND MEASUREMENTS & FILL OUT QUESTIONNAIRE
Once you purchase the One Room Virtual Design Package and sign the Service Agreement, you can send us your photos and measurements. This marks the beginning of your design process and the design magic begins! I’ll then send you a custom questionnaire to better understand your goals for the project.
STEP three
LET US DO OUR MAGIC
AND WAIT FOR THE DESIGN
I’ll craft a custom design tailored to you using your measurements, inspiration photos, and questionnaire. To start, you’ll receive a Moodboard/Inspiration Board and an Initial Design Scheme to set the right direction for your project. You can provide feedback and make one round of revisions at this stage. Next, you’ll receive your final Design Presentation and you’ll be ready to bring your virtual design to life!

Whether you have a blank canvas or need help pulling a room together, virtual design offers a cohesive, elevated, and polished look for your space. This service includes spatial planning, paint colors, furniture, and lighting selection to create a beautifully coordinated room.

Virtual Design is a perfect fit for anyone who likes to work in a collaborative online process. It’s for someone who enjoys shopping online for home decor and furnishings.

Unlike more expensive full design services, virtual design is a more affordable option for someone who is used to ordering furniture and decor online and is able to implement the design on their own.
You can of course independently hire someone that can help you put together furniture or install art, lighting etc. There are many affordable local services for that type of work.

Once you receive your custom design, you get to take charge and implement the design. You can choose to buy a select few items from the Shopping List or to buy them all, it’s totally in your hands.

Because this a more affordable option to design, more custom elements are not included. These usually require on site visits for very precise measurements. All of the items recommended will be available for purchase at a retail level.

You will be provided with a handy guide to help you measure your space. All you really need is a simple hard measuring tape, pencil and paper.
The measurements are extremely helpful in allowing me to create a spatial plan that works for your rooms dimensions.
Don’t worry you don’t have to scale the drawing, that’s my job!

Paint can be a challenging element to get right, but we’re here to make it easy. We carefully assess your space based on your color preferences, the style of your room, and its natural light exposure. I will provide you with up to three expertly chosen paint color options. You can then order affordable real paint samples to test on your walls, ensuring you select the perfect color that you love.

The 3-D renderings and spatial plan are done in a CAD program called Sketchup. They are intended to show a representation of a product. For example, what a right facing sectional with certain measurements will look like in your room. The exact products will be included in your Design Board and Shopping List.

If case goods like bookshelves are part of your design, I’ll provide you with curated decor options to enhance their look. While the intricate art of bookshelf styling is available in a separate styling package, I will ensure your bookshelves look polished and cohesive. I offer practical advice on what to buy and how to arrange your items for a beautifully styled bookshelf.
